Implementing provisions in Decision No. 02/2013 / QD-TTg dated January 14, 2013 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Regulation on oil spill response response and Decision No. 435 / QD-UBND dated 12/12 February 2015 of Dong Nai People's Committee Regulating the order, procedures and competence for appraisal and approval of grassroots oil spill response plans in Dong Nai province, June 21, 2019, Port Authority Dong Nai Maritime presided over a meeting of Oil Spill Response in combination with fire protection and rescue at Go Dau port complex, taking place in Phuoc Thai - Vedan and Go Dau A3 ports.
Attending the rehearsal were the units: Ba Ria - Vung Tau Border Executive Committee; Waterway Police Department; Police Department of Dong Nai Police Department; Go Dau Industrial Park Police and Southeast Maritime Safety Assurance Company. Representatives of maneuvers of ports such as Go Dau, Long Thanh and Phuoc Thai Vedan Port. Besides the local response force, there is also a professional oil spill response unit, Hai Van Shipping Company.
The units have implemented the regulation work, organized the correct exercises in the restricted areas have been informed, the correct scenario has been adopted. The rehearsal was a great success. After the rehearsal, the units held an evaluation meeting to draw experience to better implement the oil spill response work in the coming time.
